Blaire and Deray's wedding will be a formal, elegant event that will incorporate touches of fun to show their case their personalities.  The wedding will take place in Rock Island, Illinois on the evening of 12 December 2016.  The ceremony will take place at Two Rivers Church in the Historic Downton District in Rock Island and then move to the Watch Tower Lodge, located in the heart of the beautiful Black Hawk State Park, which is where the couple first became engaged.

The colors for the wedding represent what they find in their lives together and wish to build on. Navy symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven. White is associated with light, goodness, innocence, purity, and virginity. It is considered to be the color of perfection. Silver accents show their sophisticated side.

The reception area features two fireplaces that will be lit to add warmth to the area. Guests will be greeted in the long entry way, which will have white sheer curtains draped over the hallway, and be lined with an array of trees decorated with twinkle lights, faux snow, and hanging glass candle holders. Tables will be set with goblets of clear and blue glass, and plate chargers of silver. Centerpieces will be tabletop chandeliers where some of the tops will be adorned with the same flowers that are used in the wedding bouquets and boutonnieres, clear tumbled rocks, that symbolize ice, and snow globes that have each table number in them, so that the guests can easily find their table number after they have stopped at the escort table, which will have their card attached to a Christmas snowflake ornament.  Organza table cloths will be topped with a navy slip cloth, to add color and texture. There wil be an area set up just or the children with games, Legos, coloring books and crayons.  The ceiling will be draped with the same sheer white fabric that greeted the guests in the entry hall. Ice like pillars and a large chandelier will surround the cake table, making it a featured area.

Guests will be able to dance to a DJ, enjoy the photo booth to take a memory home with them, play the "Kissing Game," and find a small box of peppermint and chocolate candies at their place setting and take home with them a jar of homemade hot cocoa with marshmallows and crushed peppermint, to enjoy on a cold winter evening. The guests will send the newlyweds off with the lighting of sky lanterns, which are symbols of luck.
